- Check: made out to BVC and dropped in our payment box (located inside the building in the team meeting room. Include players name and team on memo)

Missed club team tryouts in July for the 2024 season?
We have may roster spots still available! Please email us with the following information: Player’s name, Player’s age & DOB, highest level of volleyball played (rec, middle school, JV, varsity, etc.) and position(s) if known. If we have an opening that your player may fit, we will offer you to come in for an evaluation. Evaluations are a $50 non-refundable fee. PRIOR to asking about club team openings, PLEASE read the “2024 club team season info” packet above to ensure the commitment (financial and time) is doable for you and your athlete.

What is Club/Travel Volleyball?
Club volleyball refers to teams put together after evaluations, which are typically in July (with make ups between July-December on an as requested basis). Teams are split by age group and level within the age group. The goal is to create a team with a balanced number of positions and similar level/goals. Club volleyball is for athletes (BOYS and GIRLS) as young as 8/9 and as old as 18 (must be in high school still). BVC creates levels of teams to accommodate athletes, levels are: Local, Regional, National. Please clik on the Season Info Document to get more details on club volleyball, fees, and timing. A brief description is below of each team level.
Local teams typically start practice in November and compete in 3-4 tournaments (within 1.5-2hr drive from Bham) between January-early March.
Regional teams start in either late October or early November (depending on age and once players school season is over). They will compete in roughly 5-6 tournaments within our region, with about half tournaments being “local” and the other half being region tournaments in Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, panhandle, Mississippi, and potentially Louisiana between January-April.
National Teams, will compete in 7-8 tournaments per season that are a mix of local, regional, and national (typically up to 8 hours away), between January-April. These teams also have a goal to qualify and/or compete at AAU or USAV Nationals (Nationals are optional for members on national teams, and rosters can change for these tournaments).
