MEDIA

This Media Folder contains a sub folder for each team. In there you will find individual schedule pics of each player when they are available (typically in January, as we use pics from the Media Day in December to do these). Feel free to download and share (be sure to tag BVC on social!)
Additionally, this is the location that you should upload any pics you take during the season that you would like to possibly see featured on BVC Social Media (He will pull pics from these folders). If you don’t upload any, don’t complain about other teams being highlighted more than yours on social. Feel free to post action shots, team pics, group pics…anything!

OFFICIATING TRAINING:
ALL PLAYERS MUST COMPLETE THESE MODULES PRIOR TO THEIR FIRST TOURNAMENT!
INSTRUCTIONS:
LOG IN TO YOUR SPORTS ENGINE ACCOUNT Get started →
You should be brought to your homepage with a banner at the top “USA Volleyball Academy” and a Launch button, hit Launch.

You will be prompted to select who this training is for, select the players name.
A new window will open and you will be brought to a dashboard of your assigned courses.
There are 4 modules you will need to complete (the “reading with Karch Kiraly” is not necessary but you’re welcome to view it). You don’t have to do the modules in one sitting. We have listed the approximate time each one takes below.

MODULES:
SO26_012 USAV Junior R2 Training: 18 minutes
SO26_013 USAV Junior Line Judge Training: 10 minutes
SO26_015 USAV Junior Asst. Scorer / Libero Tracker Training: 14 minutes
SO26_014 USAV Junior Scorer Training: 30 minutes

There is a pre-quiz offered at the beginning for the Asst. Scorer and Scorer Training modules. If you’ve done this before you can take this quiz and skip the module as long as you get 9 out of 10 questions correct. This cuts the time for these modules down to about 5 minutes, depending on how quickly you answer the 10 questions.

USAV/SRVA Membership:
ALL PLAYERS MUST DO THIS!

It will have you log into your sportsengine account. The system you used for your membership last year OR for your tryout membership this summer.
It will ask you who the membership is for, select your players name.
It will ask how they will participate, select “player/athlete”
It will ask how long they will be participating, select “season”
It will ask you to select the membership, choose “25-26 SRVA-P4 Junior Player”
**Note, if the player will turn 18 prior to July 1, 2026 they will have a different membership type which will show up on the screen.
You will then answer a few questions and sign off to some agreements
The page with the charges will show two line items (one for USAV and one for SRVA) – that is correct. The total will probably be between $50-$60.
*The next question is going to ask if you want to play in college and if you check yes, NCSA will hound you to death to pay them tons of money that you don’t need to in order to get recruited. We advise skipping that box, but it’s up to you.
Proceed through the payment process. We DO NOT NEED A COPY of your membership card. Using that link at the top automatically populates you into our database. No further action is needed.

UNIFORM ORDERS:
DEADLINE WAS 11/6/2025 IN ORDER TO RECEIVE IN TIME FOR MEDIA DAY.

*They go into production as soon as you order and will ship directly to you.

AAU MEMBERSHIP:
The following teams need to purchase this:

-12R Michael
-12R Shak
-14R Rob S.
-16 Boys Team

-SELECT “GET STARTED”
-Sign up for a new account (AAU is using a new membership software, so your old credentials will not work)
-Select “add new athlete”
-Fill out their information
-Enter the club code (U8X4VH2HJ) or search for Birmingham Volleyball Club
**It will ask you to sign up for a recruiting service: NCSA. We highly advise you not do this – they will hound you until you sign up with them and it’s not really necessary. But you are free to do this if you wish.
-Hit “Save Athlete”
-It will bring you back to your main page (if you have more than one player, repeat the above steps until you have entered all your players)
-Select “next step” at the bottom
-Select “standard coverage” under your player’s name
-Agree to Terms & Conditions and type your name
-Select “next step”
-Go to checkout and make payment
